How I Became the Cat Lady!

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry – 1 Timothy 1:12

About Lori

My family and I rescued 7 cats during my childhood and adopted 2 from a shelter. I have personally rescued and adopted out over 300 cats and kittens and spayed/neutered over 200 ferals since April 2009. God blessed me with a passion to help people and animals. I always wanted to have a cat rescue and God answered my prayers! I know I can’t save all the cats in the world, but I am going to try to save as many as I possibly can!

My Grandmother saw this passion in me as a child and wrote this poem:

My Granddaughter Lori, with hair of auburn red. Indoors or out like sun shining on her head. It only seems like yesterday she was a little girl. She stayed with me last week and I was in a whirl. She seems at 13 so grown up, yet in some ways still a child. I know in just a few more years she will drive a young man wild. She has a certain tenderness, but independence too. All these are in her favor, just to name a few. Her concern for human suffering she would like to help some day. And all poor neglected animals that some people just let stray. I hope that she will try and may the man she marries be a kind and generous guy.

I trap/spay/neuter/release ferals, socialize feral kittens, take in friendly strays and find them loving homes. Even though it is so hard to let them go, I am grateful that I was able to get them off the street and into their forever homes. There are many cats and kittens that need forever loving homes. Please contact me to assist you in finding one or two or three to complete your family!

As you can see, I am very passionate about helping furry felines. If you would like to learn how you too can help kitties, please go to my how to help page. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Thank you for visiting my website and have a blessed day!
